MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE OOSC DREAM

The OOSC team are a bunch of friends who are passionate about skiing and have a joint love for Apres. Check out some of the team members below!

Aaron McLaughlin

Aaron McLaughlin

Co-Founder

Aaron has been part of the OOSC team from the beginning in 2014 and loves a combination of skiing and partying! Having done a season in Chamonix before studying law at Uni Aaron has always loved skiing nowadays he loves a cheeky Jager at any opportunity and seems to enjoy the après almost as much as the slopes themselves….. #AprèsEveryday

Nick Marsden

Nick Marsden

Co-Founder

Nick’s mutual love of skiing and partying define the reasons why he became part of OOSC. After a season in Les Deux Alpes before studying Law at university, Nick always had aspirations of working in the ski industry in some way or another and became a co-founding member of OOSC in 2014. Less creative and more structured, you’ll not find him too far from any Après session, whether it be in the Alps or in London!

Matt Hughes

Matt Hughes

CDO and European Operations

Snowboard and Ski Instructor, Bartender, OOSC Events Aficionado and of course our very own Chief of Design!

Matt lives happy and content in the Alps like we all should… Which also makes him head of European Operations based in Meribel. Whilst making everyone jealous with photo uploads all the time, Matt can also be seen knocking back tequila after tequila.

Billy Nightingale

Billy Nightingale

Store and Sales Manager - L’OOSC Shop at La Folie Douce, Meribel, France.

Some call him Mr. Discoverer, he’s travelled the alpine mountains far and wide, crossed many seas while spreading his love for the mountains and great outdoors, and that’s not the only love he spreads.

Based in the Meribel, he’s here to assist the OOSC team in their take over!! With his mighty shredding ability he will pillage and plunder until this whisky breathing Irish pirate has conquered the mountains…

Raph Duprat

Raph Duprat

Senior Designer and Sales rep, L’OOSC Shop, Meribel.

Recent Fashion Design graduate at UWE in Bristol where I’ve spent the best 4 years. Randomly landed a job in Meribel for my first season after meeting some of the OOSC members in France this summer. Probably the least alcoholic of the team, although they say it’s a lie, it’s what I like to think. I’m excited to be part of the design team and generate some new amazing funky products, as well as becoming a ski superstar and practicing our OOSC style moves on the dance floor, whilst sipping a mojito!

Bhoe Monroe

Bhoe Monroe

Client Relations and Sales Rep, L’OOSC shop, Meribel, France.

As a recent uni drop out, I thought it would be a good idea to do a season. If my life is going down hill it may as well be on skis. You’ll probably find me hanging around the cable cars as it’ll be just the lift I need to cure the hangover from the night before. Either that or in the local bars Après-ciating a nice cold beer after work.
Got to admit its been a while since I’ve been on the slopes so if you see me struggling around Meribel feel free to Alp me out, I’ll be easy to spot in my OOSC gear!

Alys Thompson

Alys Thompson

Brand Ambassador - North American Team Leader

I‘m Alys and I’ll be based in Whistler, Canada!! I left Wales in 2017 to live the skibum dream in Chamonix. After falling in love with the lifestyle at Europe’s oldest ski resort I decided to try my luck in the number 1 ski resort in North America!

I will be working for Whistler Blackcomb resort, in the most beautiful office in the world at 1,850m and also training to become a ski tuner and repair wizard.

I love working with the OOSC team and I can’t wait to bring the retro euro style to our friends over the pond!

Favourite moment on skis: OOSC One-Piece Decent 2018 in Verbier!

Ali Chrisp

Ali Chrisp

Brand Ambassador - Europe and student operations

Graduate in Business and French from Reading University, Ali is world famous for being the only Scottish bloke with a tan. Having skied for over 20 years, Ali works as a Head Resort Rep for NUCO Travel across the Alps and Pyrenees, primarily involved in running events for thousands of University students across the season. Keep an eye out for his hideous dance moves!

Lucy May

Lucy May

Brand Ambassador - Verbier, Switzerland

After finishing my A-levels I thought what a better way to spend my gap year than doing a ski season in Verbier... 5 years later I’m still there working as a Ski Instructor!

If she’s not skiing, Lucy can be found in only one of two places, the Pub Mont Fort or hitting Le Farinet dancing on the stage with the band! (See OOSC takeover of Farinet Après video for proof).

Thinks she has the best dog in the world (like every dog owner, ever!) however, the little pup is certainly up there!

Jack Hall

Jack Hall

Brand Ambassador - Verbier, Switzerland.

10 seasons in, only 25yo - (go figure), thinks he’s super star Ski Instructor for Altitude Ski School in Verbs. Recovering from a hip injury, only 25yo (go figure) - all jokes aside, he’ll be back with a bang in 2019!

Currently uses his time to bring through younger generations of Ski Instructor trainees but in his spare time, suggests stupid business ideas to Matt whilst kicking back a few Tequilas in… well every bar in town!

Lewis Tarnai-Wilson

Lewis Tarnai-Wilson

Brand Ambassador - Les 3 Vallées, France.

Back from California again after the summer! In the winter you’ll find me at La Folie Douce whenever possible table hopping and throwing down the best shapes to been seen in ski boots. If I’m not at La Folie Douce I’ll be either lapping the park or looking for those fresh lines off-piste after the snow has fallen making claim to putting the first tracks on those mountains!

 Conrad Allan

Conrad Allan

Brand Ambassador - Whistler, Canada.

Veteran VFX Artist living in with a solid addiction for the white stuff. Conrad has been skiing since he was 3 and usually goes by the nickname ‘Congles’. You‘ll spot him easily on the mountain; he’s always rocking something hot-pink! If you’re around the Whistler area, look for the man sending it in the diamonds are forever OOSC suit!

Matilda Henry

Matilda Henry

Brand Ambassador - Val d’Isere, France.

From Lincolnshire, where it is flat and green - totally different terrain to where I live now. First season in Val d‘Isere, after having spent 3 winters in the Portes Du Soleil and one in Australia, it was time for a change of scenery and a new resort and job role. Managing chalets across the resort. Can’t wait to get stuck into the infamous Après of Val!

I have been a skier since childhood, but have recently got a new found love and appreciation for boarding, so hope to spend half the season doing each one. I will more than likely be spotted throwing myself down powder fields trying to keep up on the board, or throwing the worm at après ... embarrassingly.

Luke Pearson

Luke Pearson

Brand Ambassador - Val d’Isere, France

Turning 30 this season in Val d’Isere and still failing to walk away from season life! I have a real love of the mountains and since finishing uni, seasonal jobs have just kept me coming back year on year. This year I will be chalet managing in Val, which has heaps of potential to allow for huge amounts of slope time! I will be spending my time telemarking my way around resort, with a little bit of skiing and boarding here and there!

Look out for me lunging around Val in my teles rocking my fit OOSC gear and come and say hey!

Charlotte Stewart

Charlotte Stewart

Brand Ambassador - Tignes, France.

Graduate in Business in French (very useful ;)…) moved around a lot for my dads job so technically from nowhere haha (I’m 22 and I’m in my 15th house but we’ve settled down now). In Tignes as a Rep as I know the ski resort very well from going Val a few times over the years but it’s my first season as graduated this year from Cardiff. Been skiing since I was 4 years old so this is my 19th year and attempted snowboarding a few times and didn’t go well but going to try and get better on my season as seems like the perfect opportunity to do it!

Coralie Thomson

Coralie Thomson

Brand Ambassador - Austria.

Hailing from Buckinghamshire in the deep Midlands of Britannia. I’ve spent my recent years studying at both University of Kent and Amsterdam for my undergraduate then Masters. Taking the opportunity to shred it each year on ski tour, but I was hitting the slopes way before then.
I want to see what the other resorts have to offer and what questionable tricks I can pull on the kickers in the loudest attire possible.
If there‘s fun, I’m there 🏂
"I’m best known for busting out shapes in front of the speakers until the break of dawn and then still ready for breakfast, in the ski lifts first thang”.

Will Macdonald

Will Macdonald

Brand Ambassador - St Anton, Austria.

Will graduated from bath university this summer and decided to take a year out to do a ski season. He has skied at least once a year since for the last 10 years but the highlight has to be uni ski trip in Les Arc season 2017/18. This was where Will’s friend and fellow OOSC rep Angus persuaded him to do a ski season with him (it didn’t take a lot). Will and Angus are both based out in St Anton for the 2018/19 winter. You’ll find them on the tables at numerous ‘après’ bars rocking their ski this winter I’m sure.

Angus Twogood

Angus Twogood

Brand Ambassador - St Anton, Austria.

In an attempt to delay an office job for as long as possible Angus has opted for a season as a Chalet Host in St Anton. Having previously completed a season in Les Arcs and enjoyed two University of Bath ski trips, he’s no stranger to skiing hard and hitting the après harder. He’s looking forward to his toughest decision over the next few months being whether to go to Krazy Kangaruh or The MooserWirt…

Amy Foote

Amy Foote

Brand Ambassador - St Anton, Austria.

After the nightmare that is A-levels I decided to take a Gap year before I headed off to Uni and swapped the classroom for the slopes. I‘m super hyped to be spending my season in St Anton ... however, less excited at the prospect of having to cook 5 course dinners for my chalet every night. I am definitely worried that I will fall in love with the lifestyle in the mountains to the point where my gap year turns into a gap life. Like any good Seasonnaire you’ll most likely find me having a boogie on a tabletop in KKs. Please come and say Hi, I doubt I’ll be hard to miss whilst kitted out in my wavy OOSC Snowsuit.

Charlotte Adcock

Brand Ambassador - St Anton, Austria.

Having finished my A levels last summer, I’m escaping to St Anton for my first season! Originally, I was a devote skier but have converted to the ‘dark’ side and have now been snowboarding for coming up 5 years, ditching the poles for pints with my now free hands. When I’m not on the slopes, you can find me cutting some outrageous shapes in an Austrian Après bar in my groovy OOSC gear.
