OOSC Kids Ski Suits Have Landed: Introducing Our First Ever Kids Skiwe

You asked. And asked. And asked some more.

For years, one question has followed us around the mountains:

“When are you going to make OOSC ski suits for kids?”

Well… the wait is officially over.

For the first time ever, OOSC kids ski suits are here, bringing the colour, retro style and mountain-ready performance of our iconic adult ski suits to the next generation of little shredders.

Our brand-new kids skiwear collection has been designed to give children everything they need for long days on the mountain: warmth, waterproofing, comfort and durability, with the unmistakably bold OOSC style thrown in for good measure.

And yes, parents: we've made matching adult ski suits too.

Our First Ever Kids Ski Suit Collection

Since OOSC began, we've believed that skiing should be about more than getting from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

It's about the people you're with, the memories you make and having as much fun as possible along the way.

Our adult ski suits have been part of those memories for years, and we've constantly been asked when we'd finally make OOSC ski suits for children.

For Winter 26/27, we've done exactly that.

The first OOSC kids ski suit collection features 12 unisex designs, with sizes ranging from 3–4 years through to 11–12 years.

Because blending in has never really been our thing.

Designed by a Parent, for Parents

When we decided to create our first children's ski suit range, we didn't simply want to shrink down an adult ski suit.

It needed to be designed around kids.

OOSC co-founder and product designer Aaron is a parent himself, so he understands both sides of the equation: what kids want from their ski clothing and, just as importantly, what parents need from it.

Kids want to feel comfortable, warm and free to spend all day skiing, sledging, making snow angels and generally throwing themselves into the snow.

Parents want to know they're warm, dry and protected, and would ideally like their ski gear to survive more than five minutes of all the above.

That's why our kids snowsuits combine the fun and colour OOSC is known for with technical features specifically chosen for days spent on the mountain.

Serious Skiwear for Little Shredders

They might be smaller ski suits, but we haven't gone small on the technical features.

Our all-in-one kids ski suits feature 80GSM thermal insulation to help keep little skiers warm, alongside 10,000mm waterproofing and 10,000gm breathability.

That balance matters. A good kids waterproof ski suit needs to keep snow and moisture out while allowing heat and moisture generated inside the suit to escape.

We've also added taped seams and YKK AquaGuard zips for extra protection against the elements, while wrist gaiters with thumb loops and elasticated snow cuffs help prevent snow from finding its way inside.

The outer shell and lining use premium recycled polyester, giving our kids ski suits the durability needed for everything from ski lessons to sledging and snowball fights.

In other words: built for skiing, designed for being a kid.

The Little Details Parents Will Love

Some of our favourite features aren't the ones you'll immediately notice.

We've added an internal mesh snack pocket, because anyone who has taken children skiing knows that snacks are practically an essential piece of ski equipment.

There are fleece-lined hip pockets for cold hands, with enough room for hand warmers when the temperature really drops.

There's also a dedicated zipped lift pass and AirTag pocket, giving parents somewhere secure to keep their child's lift pass while also providing space for an AirTag.

Adjustable cuffs help keep gloves securely in place, while adjustable ankle flaps provide extra flexibility around ski and snowboard boots.

We've even reinforced the inside ankle area to help reduce the wear and tear caused by ski and snowboard edges.

And when the inevitable hot chocolate, lunch or après snack ends up down the front?

They're wipe-clean and machine washable at 30°C.

Bright Colours That Do More Than Look Good

We love bright ski clothing. That's probably not going to come as a surprise.

But when it comes to kids skiwear, those unmistakable OOSC colours have another advantage.

Visibility.

Bright colours and bold prints make it easier to spot your little skier on a busy piste.

Take our Happy Hippy Kids Ski Suit. Its neon pink base is covered in colourful smiley faces, flowers, lips, snakes and other retro graphics.

Kids Ski Suits Designed to Last as They Grow

Every parent knows the problem with buying children's ski clothing: they don't stay the same size for very long.

We've therefore designed our kids ski suits with a slightly oversized fit to maximise longevity as your child grows.

There's room to accommodate layers underneath, while the fit takes into consideration the additional height and bulk created by ski or snowboard boots.

Our current kids sizing runs from:

100cm / 3–4 years
110cm / 4–5 years
120cm / 6–7 years
130cm / 7–8 years
140cm / 9–10 years
150cm / 11–12 years

When choosing a size, remember to consider the layers your child will wear underneath their ski suit and the extra room needed around their boots.

And once they've eventually outgrown it? Pass it down or give it another life through our preloved platform.
