48 Hours in Verbier

Another OOSC mission was underway! As we got to Le Châble the snow started dumping it down and we knew we were in for an epic couple of days! We met the OOSC Swiss Manager, Matt Hughes, and hit up Tuesday night at Pub Mont Fort and caught the second half of the awesome set from The Sound Casters.

Drone in the Farinet

As Wednesday brought with it a glorious ‘bluebird’ we grabbed our skis and hit the slopes in our finest OOSC Ski Suits, stopping for a few beers on the mountain along the way. We got ourselves down to Farinet early to set up and kit out the bar staff and Spyglass (a banging Après band!) with Après T-shirts & fluorescent headbands. As day turned to night Farinet Après Ski was in full flow, headbands and beer everywhere. Spyglass had the Farinet crowd loving every tune whilst the array of colours from the OOSC Après Jackets & Retro Skiwear made the place glow. When the time came to open the famous retractable roof, our man in resort, Caspar let his drone record some of the Verbier crowd!
Once the Farinet’s annual Retro Après Party came to end the crowd made their way to see Faye play her amazing jager-infused acoustic set, which saw the infamous #Stairrider Caspar show his skills on the TBar descent. The night ended with a compulsory trip to Farinet South and a cheeky late night Harolds Burger. The inevitable sore heads resulted in a slow start to Thursday, only helped by a massive breakfast at Offshore café. We then jumped in the Medran lift and hit a few runs through the park. Matt pulled a huge oldschool method grab whilst Aaron popped a cheeky retro spread eagle, whilst turning heads in their OOSC Mr Motivator and Fresh Prince Ski Suits. After a cheeky pitstop at Bar 1936 and another at Icecube Bar we met our squad of finely tuned athletes donning their fantastic OOSC Ski Suits. From there we began filming our promo video for the One Piece Descent being run by Pub Mont Fort on April 6th 2016... Where will you be? Video to follow shortly. Also see 24 Hours in Verbier
