Great Britain at the Winter X Games

Another Year and some amazing results for Great Britain at the Winter X Games!

Unless you have been locked out of your house, without your phone or access to the internet you will know that the biggest event in the Freestyle Snowsports Calendar rolled around last week!

This one was made that little bit more special by the fact that our very own home grown hero James ‘Woodsy’ Woods took home Gold in the Big Air. Woodsy dropped a Switch Triple Cork 1440 Octo Grab with ridiculous steeze to bring home the Bacon!

Woodsy came close to taking home a second medal in the slopestyle but was edged into 4th by Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, McRae Williams took home silver, whilst the Norwegian beast that is Øystein Braaten took the Gold Home.

Elsewhere in Aspen, Britain’s Katie Omerod took home bronze in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle behind Jamie Anderson and Julia Marino.
