Vintage Ski Posters are undoubtably iconic. They were originally produced to entice holiday-makers and winter thrill-seekers to resorts and alpine areas. Notable artists would design vintage ski posters for resorts, these were colourful, glamorous and stylish, sometimes also fun and quirky. The heyday of vintage ski posters was really the 1920s and 1930s, when bold art‑deco imagery epitomised golden-era inter-war glamour. Here are a few of our favourites (in no particular order).

Lange is a major producer of ski boots used in alpine skiing.
Ski Bums
A film about three ski-bums (Run Funk, Mike Zuetell and Ed Ricks) that are followed by another ski bum (Dick Barrymore),with a 16mm Bolex camera, who filmed a four-month part of their nomadic and vanishing-breed way of life across four continents.
